3-day Agripreneurship Training on Product Development and Enterprise Readiness for MSMEs

The Caraga State University, through Project 2: Establishment of Regional Agri-Business Hub (ABH) in Caraga under the RAISE Program, successfully conducted a 3-day Agripreneurship Training on Product Development and Enterprise Readiness for MSMEs last August 5–7, 2025 at CSU Ampayon, Butuan City.
The training aimed to build entrepreneurial capacity and enhance product development skills of aspiring and existing agripreneurs. Participants from Barangay Ampayon, Butuan City engaged in both lecture and hands-on sessions, covering:
• Entrepreneurial Mind setting
• Food Safety
• Labelling and Packaging
• Agri Products Marketing
• Hands-on preparation of Chili Garlic Sauce, Cassava Chips, Calamansi Juice, and Camote Molido
The sessions were facilitated by experts from CSU’s faculty and the Caraga Food Innovation Center, who shared valuable insights and guided participants throughout the training.
At the end of the program, participants proudly showcased their finished products and received their Certificates of Participation.
This initiative is part of RAISE’s continuing effort to support and empower local MSMEs, helping them transform ideas into innovative, market-ready agri-based products.
