Project Overview
Regional IPTBM aims to establish a regional network for intellectual property and technology business management in Caraga. By harmonizing IP policies and intensifying technology commercialization, the project supports economic and innovation growth in the AANR sector.
Services Offered:
Assistance in Intellectual Property (IP) documentation and application
Technology transfer support and guidance
Conduct of IP awareness seminars and training
Development of licensing agreements and MOAs
Technology valuation and commercialization planning
Support in prior art search and patent drafting
Key Objective
The primary goal of RAISE Project 1 is to strengthen Caraga's innovation ecosystem by establishing and sustaining IP-TBM offices in Consortium Member Institutions (CMIs). The project focuses on capacity building, harmonizing IP policies, and advance partnerships to protect and commercialize AANR technologies, driving economic growth and addressing societal challenges.
Specific Objectives
Manage regional AANR technologies and intellectual properties by operationalizing IP-TBM offices in participating CMIs.
Support regional partners in developing their respective technology transfer programs.
Provide capability-building activities for R&D partners, including mentorship and training for technology transfer officers.
Harmonize IP policies among participating CMIs to streamline IP management and technology transfer efforts.
Facilitate public-private access to AANR technologies, enhancing the regional innovation ecosystem.
Strengthen linkages with various agencies by providing a platform for convergence among AANR stakeholders, including the academe, public and private sectors, NGOs, and international partners.
Facilitate the transfer and commercialization of technologies generated by CMIs through effective IP-TBM network management.
RAISE Project 1 - IPTBM offers training to staff and stakeholders in the region, strengthening their capabilities in technology transfer and IP management to better support the development and commercialization of AANR technologies.
