Project Overview
The Regional Agribusiness Hub (ABH) under the RAISE Program aims to foster a sustainable and innovative agribusiness ecosystem in the Caraga region. This project will establish a centralized hub that provides farmers, agripreneurs, and agribusinesses with access to advanced technologies, technical support, training, and business development services. Through collaboration, knowledge exchange, and capacity building, the hub will empower stakeholders to enhance productivity, reduce costs, access new markets, and adopt sustainable practices.
By leveraging public-private partnerships, the ABH seeks to promote policy advocacy and foster inclusive growth, contributing to economic development, job creation, and investment in Caraga's agricultural sector.
Services Offered:
Business coaching and mentorship for agri-aqua enterprises
Assistance in business model development and refinement
Market assessment and feasibility analysis
Linking researchers with potential investors and markets
Training on agribusiness and entrepreneurship
Support in preparing business plans and investment proposals
Key Objectives:
The primary goal of RAISE Project 2- ABH is to establish a Regional Agribusiness Hub in selected Caraga Consortium for Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources Research and Development (CCAARRD) member institutions (CMIs).
Specific Objectives:
Build the capacities of selected CMI staff on agribusiness development through training and mentorship.
Assess and package various R&D outputs to support the development and operation of viable AANR-based enterprises.
Assist CMIs in conducting pre-commercialization activities such as market research, product development, and business planning.
Establish partnerships with business entities for technology commercialization.
Institutionalize the operation of the Regional Agribusiness Hub to ensure long-term sustainability.
RAISE Project 2 - Agribusiness Hub provides training to staff and stakeholders in the region, enhancing their skills in agribusiness development and entrepreneurship to support the growth and commercialization of AANR-based enterprises.
